I’m not sure if this particular Black-collared Starling is fit for the role, but it was the only bird that sat close enough for observation today.
I’ve found a way to add some excitement to the local birds. Yesterday, I set up a wire on their go-to spot and hooked it up to a car battery. Now when the birds land, they get a little shock. It’s quite amusing and makes for some unique photos.
